Ansel Roy

Ansel Lee Roy, 91, of Russell Springs, died Sunday,

December 11, 2016 at the Russell County Hospital.

He was born September 9, 1925 in Pulaski County to

the late Leo & Rosalie Scales Roy.

He operated Roy's TV & Repair for many years.

He was a Veteran of US Army having served in WWII

and the Korea War. He was a bronze star recipient.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death

by his wife, Ilene Robertson Roy; 2 brothers, Garlin

Roy, Ernest G. Roy and a sister, Gertrude Gosser

Survivors

2 children: Rosanna (Ronnie) Ford, Russell Springs

Douglas (Karen) Roy, Russell Springs

10 grandchildren-13 great grandchildren

2 sisters: Susanna Burkett, Russell Springs

Evonna Withers, Russell Springs

2 brothers: Vernon Roy, Tuscan, Arizona

Berlon Roy, Glasgow, Ky

Funeral service for Ansel Lee Roy will be 11:30 AM.

Interment in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset

with full military honors by the Russell county Honor Guard
