Anna Lucille Norfleet, age 88, of Nancy, KY passed away Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Norfleet was born in Faubush, KY on March 10, 1922 to the late Elwood & Callie Muse Weddle. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she taught Flora Dotson Sunday School Class for many years. Mrs. Norfleet taught in the Pulaski County School system for over 40 years.
Mrs. Norfleet is survived by a daughter; Regena & (Wendell) Owen of Nancy, KY, two sisters; Olive Dawes of Nancy, KY, Willena & (Harold) Atkins of Somerset, KY, two grandchildren; Shellie & (Jimmy) Young, Missie Woolridge, eight great-grandchildren; Jason & (Kim) Turpen, Kyle Turpen, Cody Light, Cory Light, Jaylan Woolridge, Jakoby Lasley, Tayshawn Beneford, Kamara Sloan, a great-great-grandchild; Preston Turpen, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Rufus Norfleet.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 3rd, 2010 after 5:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Anna Lucille Norfleet will be held on Monday, October 4th,2010 at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 3:00pm with Bro. Larry Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
