Velma J. "Tiny" Browning Thompson, daughter of the late Vogle and Juanita Whitaker Decker, was born June 30, 1945 in the Squib Community of Pulaski County and passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 73 years.
She is survived by her husband, Don Thompson; one son, Chris (and Melinda) Browning of Bronston, KY; two step-sons, Jim Pat (and Amanda) Thompson of Somerset, KY and Joe Dan (and Alisha) Thompson of Nancy, KY; one brother, Dellan "Bud" Decker of the Squib Community,; two grandchildren, Hanna and Amylia Browning; three step-grandchildren, Heidi, Cooper, and Ollie.
Velma was a former employee of the General Electric Somerset Glass Plant and a member of the Somerset Church of Christ, she was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Willie Ramsey Officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until time for services. A private burial will take place at a later date.
Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
