Hazel Farr

Hazel Farr, age 94, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at her residence.

Hazel was born on February 5, 1925 in Lawrenceburg, TN to the late Ben D. Bunt and Emma Caudle Bunt.  She worked at Copeland Refrigeration Corp. for thirty four years before retiring in 1987.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy (Bob) DeLaet of Miramar Beach, FL; one sister, Eradean Martin of Lawrenceburg, TN; two grandchildren, Robin (and Phil) Shelfer and Mike (Michele) DeLaet; five great-grandchildren, Adrienne Haynes, Mike Topp, Hailey Shelfer, Adam DeLaet and Nicholas DeLaet; and one great-great granddaughter, Mila Marie Shelfer.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gentry Farr, whom she married on June 6, 1944 and he preceded her on January 12, 2008; five sisters, Cogie Owens, Elaine Bussell, Lola Hedgepeth, Cleo Bunt and Alma Brown; and two brothers, Shirley Bunt and Jerry Bunt.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Her funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 12:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Mullins officiating.  Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Mike DeLaet, Adam DeLaet, Nick DeLaet, Phil Shelfer and Mike Kingsley.
