Elizabeth Denham

December 5, 1922 — August 11, 2018

Elizabeth Denham, 95, of Somerset passed away August 11, 2018. She was a member of the Burnside United Methodist Church and served as Sunday School Secretary and Church historian for several years. Survivors include; one son, Steve (and Sarah) Hall of Somerset; three daughters, Juanita (and Cecil) Helton of Burnside, Loretta Slagle of Bronston, and Norma (and Mike) Garner of Bronston; one son-in-law, Arthur Wells of Science Hill; four step-children, Jackson (and Kay) Denham of Somerset, Linda (and Earl) Goff of Louisville, Anita Adams of Somerset, Sharon Neikirk of Somerset; two sisters, Garnella Howell of Hamilton, Ohio, Margaret Burns of Somerset; one brother, Charles (and Tana) Black of New Castle, IN; eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Johnny Ray Hall; her second husband, Garvel Denham; her mother, Bonnie Black; a daughter, Donna Wells; a grandchild, Karla Rae Helton; a son-in-law, Donald Slagle; five brothers, Edgar, Jack, Paul, Ralph, and Bill Black; three sisters, Mary Owens, Dorothy Warren and Martha Black.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. Richard Held officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family of Elizabeth Denham will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral home from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time for services at 1 p.m.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Lake Cumberland 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503 in loving memory of Elizabeth Denham.
