Coy Mounce

Coy Lee Mounce, 64, of Science Hill, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born November 7, 1957 in Somerset; son of Leslie Coy Mounce and the late Betty Jean (Fulcher) Mounce.

He is survived by his father; his wife, Bernadette (Hines) Mounce; two sons, David Leslie and Brandon Lee Mounce; a daughter, Casey Jo Mounce; three brothers, Billy, Eddie Wayne, and Jerry Lynn Mounce; five grandchildren, Haylee Marie Mounce, Madison Paige Durham, Michael Lee Durham, Milla Mounce, and Chloe Mounce; a great-granddaughter, Keegan Scott Mounce; eight nephews, Rocky Mounce, Joshua Isaac Mounce, Zachary Mounce, Jedidiah Scott Mounce, Bryson Daniel Mounce, Kyle Hacker, Jared Burgett, and Derek Burgett; and a niece, Jaala B Taylor.

He is preceded in death by his mother and a nephew, Jakob Cole Aton.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jim McKinney officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 9:30 AM Friday, May 20, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
