Brenda Taylor

Brenda Joyce Taylor, 75, of Somerset, passed away, Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born December 11, 1946 in Somerset; daughter of the late James & Bernice (Vaught) Price. She married Donald Taylor on January 15, 1965, who preceded her in death on January 23, 1995. She was a farmer, an employee of Captain D's Restaurant, and retired from the Pulaski County School System where she served as a bus driver. She was a member of Nelson Valley Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed camping and karaoke.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne & (Mona) Taylor of Somerset and Scott Taylor of Lawrenceburg; a grandson, Jordan & (Asya) Taylor of Somerset; a brother, Gary & (Barbie) Price of Somerset; a sister, Connie & (Keith) Lawson of Somerset; several nieces, nephews, & cousins; and a friend of several years, Bill Burton.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Griffin and Bro. Tim Taylor officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home
